Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range. Don't leave Frozen Lake without first going for a hike along the Ramshorn Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Frozen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rawhide Ranch. At Frozen Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the winter highs are       in the 30's with temperatures at Frozen Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Chinook Winds Mountain Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the Shoshone Trail. Frozen Lake is pretty dehydrated usually; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Good hiking is available along the Crescent Trail;                  get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River - South Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
