Hitching Post Campgrounds is a great campground nearby, and the Ishawooa Trail offers hiking at its best. During the summertime at Frost Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Frost Reservoir. You simply must adore Frost Reservoir.
