Hiking along the Table Mountain Trail is tremendous fun, and there's some flowing water close by, Big Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay.       For the duration of the summer here at Frost Reservoir, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Frost Reservoir are in the 10's. Around Frost Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors entertaining things in the                  Absaroka Range will keep you coming back again and again. There's whitewater on Greybull River for all you adrenaline kick people; camping at Hanging Rock Campground is always a pleasant experience. Frost Reservoir is located in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Shoshone River - North Fork, and Frost Dam is not far at all from Frost Reservoir.
