For the duration of the days of summer here at French Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while French Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Black Hills has to offer. After a long       day outdoors Best Western Devils Tower Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two; French Reservoir is next to Reservoir Gulch which is definitely worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn At Sundance. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Black Hills is excellent! Going for a hike along the Simmons Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Mountain View Campground is                  a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. It's a wonderful idea to stop at Alkali Brook, it's near French Reservoir, and hiking along the Rauth Trail is good fun. It's always wonderful to take a look at Mahoney Spring, and a journey to Devils Tower National Monument is worthwhile. French Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Black Hills. Not far from French Reservoir you obtain some splendid water scenery at French Dam; why not camp at Bear Lodge Campground if you're here at French Reservoir. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Bald Mountain can be spotted from French Reservoir, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Nilson Trail.
