This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Foster Reservoir. Camping at TK's RV Park is always a good experience, and Cody Cowboy Village is a great location to get some rest. Pete Miller Park is a brilliant spot to check out; you can go for a hike on the Timber Creek Trail. This lake is       so wonderful. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Nina Dam in close proximity to Foster Reservoir; there's whitewater on Greybull River for all you adrenaline people. If you came to camp Yellowstone Valley Inn is a tremendous place to do that, and not far from Foster Reservoir you'll stumble on Foster Number 3 Reservoir which is a stunning lake. So much amusing stuff in the Absaroka Range, just remarkable. There's some flowing water close by, North Meeteetse                  Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Jack Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Shoshone River; going for a hike on the Piney Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. At Foster Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Absaroka Range. Lakes? Sure, Nina Reservoir is in close proximity, and if you need a site to stay The Cody is a great choice. Throughout the days of summer at Foster Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's.
