     Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Foster Number 3 Reservoir is one of them. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. At Foster Number 3 Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.
Cody Cowboy Village is a perfect place to get some rest, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Jack Creek Trail. All year is a perfect time
 
   in the Absaroka Range if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Piney Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure; camping is available at Seven K's Motel. This lake is so wonderful. North Meeteetse Creek is a brilliant local stream; you can run the rapids of Greybull River.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Absaroka Range. Camping at Yellowstone Valley Inn is always a delightful experience, and dry warm beds await you at
 
               Americinn - Cody, Wy. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Foster Number 3 Reservoir has it all. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Shoshone River; there are brilliant locations to explore along the Timber Creek Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Foster Reservoir, also Nina Dam is worth a visit if you're here.
High temperatures at Foster Number 3 Reservoir through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Foster Number 3 Reservoir through the winter usually sink into the 10's.
