Fort Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Near Fort Lake you find the Lewis and Clark Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
