You'll need more than a day to look at everything Forest Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lizard Creek Campground; a fine place to go to nearby is Lewis Canyon. You just must like Forest Lake. Jenny Lake Lodge is a great place to get some rest; Forest Lake is right by the Sheffield Creek Trail. If you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a delightful choice, and why not take a refreshing       hike along the South Boundary Trail. Summertime highs at Forest Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Forest Lake throughout the winter commonly dip into the-10's. Grand Teton National Park is a pleasant national park. This lake is so wonderful. A good site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Forest Lake is Snake River, and do                  take a hike on the Arizona Creek Trail. From a precipitation point of view Forest Lake is a reasonably common site; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at South Entrance Hot Springs.
