Many people like to go to Florence Lake. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling next to Florence Lake is Tensleep Creek, and lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Fortress Lakes. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Florence Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Lake Creek Campground is a tremendous place; why not take a refreshing hike along the Solitude Trail.

| | Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, ordinarily in the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Florence Lake. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bighorn Mountains. along the Mistymoon Trail. A magnificent place to take a look at near Florence Lake is Florence Pass, and the Cliff Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.
These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the
Bighorn Mountains. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Horn Ski. Florence Lake is frequently a pretty dehydrated spot; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow; February meanwhile is the
driest month. Florence Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Highland Park Campground is a pleasant campground here, and from Florence Lake you get a delightful vista of Bomber Mountain.
