During the summer months at Florence Lake highs are commonly in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Florence Lake plunge into the 0's. Florence Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater       paddling on Tensleep Creek, and there are good locations to look at along the Cliff Lake Trail. At Florence Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the snow falls throughout April while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the Bighorn Mountains for a glorious time. There are other spots here than Florence Lake, for example Gunboat Lake, and the sight of Bomber Mountain is lovely. This lake is so wonderful.                  Going for a hike on the Mistymoon Trail is always a nice adventure; Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a delightful place to get some rest. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Florence Lake has it all. Not far from Florence Lake, you'll locate Golden Lakes which is a beautiful lake; don't leave Florence Lake without first going for a hike along the Solitude Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Paintrock Creek, and you could always discover Florence Pass. Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again.
