Flitner Reservoir is ordinarily a reasonably dehydrated site; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Shell Campground is a good local campground, and while you're here, you could also stop at striking Walters Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Granite Creek Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,       we recommend Shell Creek. White Sulphur Spring is a lovely place to have a look at while you're at Flitner Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a brilliant choice. Through the summertime highs here at Flitner Reservoir reach the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while Flitner Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout                  the winter are in the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Flitner Reservoir. Near Flitner Reservoir you stumble on the Dry Horse Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and do go to Walters Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Worland is a fine place to get some rest. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Paintrock Creek; there are good places to discover along the Elkhorn Trail.
