Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Camping at Highland Park Campground is always a pleasant experience; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Tensleep Creek. During the days of summer here at Flatiron Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. Daytime highs       through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Flatiron Lake. Flatiron Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Flatiron Lake is Circle Park Campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Angeline Trail. This location rules, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Flatiron Lake. Elk Creek is a lovely stream that is                  worth stopping at, and lakes are such serene sites, why not go to Seven Brothers Lakes. Flatiron Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is February. Flatiron Lake is in close proximity to Cloud Peak Dam which is a pretty site definitely worth visiting, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Solitude Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. There are other places here than Flatiron Lake, for example Cloud Peak Reservoir, and the Penrose Park Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
