Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's so much to do here at Fishhook Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a magnificent spot for that. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Fishhook Lake. An exciting thing to visit near Fishhook Lake is Little Brooklyn Lake Dam; soar down the rapids of North Platte River in a kayak. All through the       summertime highs here at Fishhook Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Fishhook Lake through the winter mostly plunge into the 10's. Fishhook Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lakes are such calm sites, why not explore Arrowhead Lake right next door to Fishhook Lake, and good hiking is available                  along the Medicine Bow Trail. At Fishhook Lake you don’t see much rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
