On a brilliant day at Fishhook Lake you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail, and you can stay the night at Upper Nash Fork Campground. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Fishhook Lake called the Medicine Bow Trail, and Fishhook Lake is not the only place close by, Round Lake is a close by lake. Summer brings       highs in the 80's to Fishhook Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Fishhook Lake. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
