This spot, the Laramie Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Hiking along the Ridge Camp Trail is glorious fun, and Yellow Pine Campground is a fine campground here. Summertime highs at Farthing Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Farthing Reservoir through       the winter commonly fall into the 0's. Farthing Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Horse Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Laramie is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. You can run the rapids of Bluegrass Creek in the neighborhood of Farthing Reservoir; a good spot close by is Road Canyon. Farthing Reservoir                  is located in the Laramie Mountains.
