    Many people like to go to Farney Lakes. Farney Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. There are other sites here than Farney Lakes, for example Chateau Lake, and why not camp at Granite Creek Campground since you're here at Farney Lakes. And that's not all you can do here at Farney Lakes. Good hiking is available along the Sawmill Park Trail, and going for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
Farney Lakes is
 
   commonly a rather dry spot; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Go for a hike on the Pass Creek Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Granite Creek. At Farney Lakes through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Farney  
               Lakes tend to be in the 0's.
Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. And that's not all you can do here in the Wind River Range. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Brewster Lake next to Farney Lakes, and Crystal Creek Campground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Colter Bay Village is a brilliant choice, and there's whitewater on Hoback River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
