    Farney Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Wind River Range. Going for a hike along the Purdy Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Farney Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Granite Creek Campground is a good local campground. A fine spot to camp here at Farney Lakes is Crystal Creek Campground, and Heart Six Dude Ranch is a  
   delightful place to get some rest. Farney Lakes is typically a pretty dried up site; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is July.
Farney Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. The warmest time of the year at Farney Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime
 
               temperatures at Farney Lakes plunge into the 0's. There's whitewater on Granite Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Sawmill Park Trail.
This place, Farney Lakes, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Hoback River in the neighborhood of Farney Lakes; since you're here you can take a hike along the Pass Creek Trail.
