    Beautiful Farney Lakes has much to offer visitors. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Wind River Range. Good hiking is available along the Pass Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hoback River. Farney Lakes is a location that is quite dried out usually; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest of the months is July.

   is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Farney Lakes is so good! If you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a glorious choice, and if you came to camp Crystal Creek Campground is a brilliant place to do that. This is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes. Brewster Lake is a lake in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Farney Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Granite Creek Campground  
               is a wonderful place for that.
Throughout the warmest time of the year at Farney Lakes highs are generally in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows at Farney Lakes all through the wintertime generally fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Granite Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Farney Lakes; Sawmill Park Trail is a tremendous local trail. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Go for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Chateau Lake is just a very short distance away.
