So much cool stuff in the Absaroka Range, just mind-boggling. After a long day outdoors Yodeler Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Get soaked paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Lakes? Sure, Paradise Lake is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid spot to camp here at Fantan Lake is Long Lake Campground, and nearby you stumble on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail                  which is a great hiking trail. Fantan Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; June is the month that gets the most rain; October is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Fantan Lake through the summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Fantan Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Fantan Lake is located in the Absaroka Range.
