A short visit to North Fork Falls is always worthwhile; don't leave Lake Ethel without first going for a hike along the Lake Ethel Trail. Lake Ethel is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. Go for a hike on the Boulder Canyon Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Ethel has to offer, you can camp at Boulder Campground. These mountains       rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Glide down the rapids of Pole Creek in a kayak, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Edmond Lake. You absolutely should fancy the Wind River Range. A wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn, and do stop at Divide Lake, it's a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Divide Creek from Lake Ethel is easy, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. If                  you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Ethel. Good hiking is available along the Scab Sage Trail, and you can stay the night at Scab Creek Campground. Summer at Lake Ethel arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, usually in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Ethel drop into the-10's.
