     Emerald Lake is always a pleasure to visit. After a long day outdoors Togwotee Mountain Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and why not explore nearby Ermine Creek since you're here at Emerald Lake. Grand Teton National Park is a great national park. The yearly precipitation here at Emerald Lake is about average; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July.
This place, Emerald Lake, it simply
 
   has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Camping at Hatchet Campground is always a splendid experience; Gravel Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Colter Bay Village is a wonderful location to get some rest, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Mink Creek Cutoff Trail. All through the warm months at Emerald Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime  
               come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Emerald Lake are in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Turpin Meadow Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and the Snake River Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. A lake close by is Moss Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Big Game Ridge Cutoff Trail.
