    Do stop by Emerald Lake while you're in this part of Wyoming. Hit the slopes at Big Horn Ski in close proximity, and the Edelman Trail offers hiking at its best. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Emerald Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Coffeen Park Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and paddling on Paintrock Creek is  
   so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Geneva Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and do take a hike on the Cliff Lake Trail. While staying at Emerald Lake you could always discover Edelman Pass, and Emerald Lake is right by the North High Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Antelope Butte is a very popular ski area around here.
For the duration of the summertime here at Emerald Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 60's. When
 
               the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Emerald Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Emerald Lake; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. A beautiful lake like Horseshoe Lake near Emerald Lake is a perfect location to stop by, and glide down the rapids of Tensleep Creek in a kayak.
So many cool things to do here at Emerald Lake, too magnificent to be true. Lakes of the Rough is a great lake close to Emerald Lake; dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn.
