The Laramie Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Around Elk Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and December on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Elk Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in       the 30's while Elk Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Laramie Mountains.
