Throughout the days of summer here at Eleanor Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Eleanor Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.       Dry warm beds await you at Shoshone Lodge; you can go for a hike on the Jones Pass Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's so much to do here at Eleanor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pahaska Campground is a perfect spot for that, and if the weather is pretty, you obtain a great view of Avalanche Peak from Eleanor Lake. Going for a hike on the Clear Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure; if you wish                  for a little side spree, try Sylvan Pass. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pahaska Tepee Resort is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and Sylvan Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
