You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Eightmile Lake. Near Eightmile Lake you hit upon the Emigrant Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Eightmile Lake Basin is right here at Eightmile Lake, and Rawlins Peaking Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Eightmile Lake, you could also take a look at stunning Sheep Mountain Reservoir,       and Ninemile Spring is always fun to check out. It is very arid here at Eightmile Lake ordinarily; throughout May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Eightmile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, RV World Campground is a nice spot for that, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - RAWLINS is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
