All year is a great time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you adore the outdoors. If the weather is wonderful, you get a great sight of Pine Butte from Edwards Lake; hiking along the Circle Trail is delightful fun. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Snowy Range is one of those things you just ought to do. At Edwards Lake during the       warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Edwards Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
