Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a great site to get some rest, and Big Sandy Campground is a fine local campground. Don't leave Echo Lakes without first going for a hike along the High Meadow Trail, and don’t forget to stop at Pinto Park if you're here at Echo Lakes. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Good hiking is available       along the Pinto Park Trail, and you have to unquestionably have a look at Chimney Rock while you're here. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun things to do here in the Wind River Range. Go for a hike on the Ice Lakes Trail. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Middle Popo Agie River, and there are other sites here than Echo Lakes, for example Coon Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. So much exciting                  stuff to do at Echo Lakes, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay Dickinson Creek Campground is a brilliant spot to camp, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Smith Lake. For the duration of the summertime here at Echo Lakes, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Echo Lakes temperatures drop to the 10's.
