If you are traveling by, why not stop by Echo Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Abandoned Lake; Beartooth Plateau is a good site here at Echo Lake. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Echo Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter

| | nights. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Beartooth Lake is around here; Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
And that's not everything you can do here in the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Top Of The World Campground; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Beauty Lake Trail. and October is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike on the Clay Butte Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and there's some flowing water close by, Little Bear Creek is
a stream you can have a look at while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Yodeler Motel is a perfect choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. On a great day at Echo Lake you
can take a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail, and the summit of Lonesome Mountain can be spotted from Echo Lake.
Just can't get enough of Echo Lake. Camping at Beartooth Lake Campground is always a great experience, and the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.
