Around Echo Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Creek Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great spot to camp. High temperatures at Echo Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's; the nighttime       is a little colder of course, frequently in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. But wait, there's more to do next to Echo Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Dinwoody Trail is a magnificent local trail, and while you're here, you could also go to lovely Honeymoon Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Wind River                  Range. Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a great location to get some rest; you'll locate a lovely lake called Ink Wells. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Downs Fork. This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Places like Big Meadows are pleasant to stop at, and whitewater paddling is good on Bull Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Longhorn RV & Motel, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. There's tremendous hiking along the Ink Wells Trail, and Wind River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
