If you are traveling by, why not stop by East Tensleep Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to East Tensleep Lake, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 30's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while East Tensleep Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn

River - North Fork is a great whitewater spot close to East Tensleep Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Solitude Trail. East Tensleep Lake gets very little rain; April is the month that gets the most
snow, and the driest of the months is February. If you get bored of East Tensleep Lake, you could also stop by close by Lake McLain, and The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a glorious spot to get some rest.
