TK's RV Park is a brilliant campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Streamside Inn. Any time is a great time at Eagle Lake if you adore the outdoors. There is a perfect hiking trail near Eagle Lake called the Jack Creek Trail; get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Greybull River. If you get bored of Eagle Lake, you could also stop at       close by Hidden Lake; camping at Eagle Lake is tremendous fun, Yellowstone Valley Inn is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Red Pole Ranch is a good place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shoshone River. It is very dried up here at Eagle Lake generally; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is January. For the period of the warmest time                  of the year highs here at Eagle Lake get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Eagle Lake sink into the 10's. There's some interesting stuff to see at Eagle Lake Dam right next door to Eagle Lake, and going for a hike on the Piney Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure.   Cody Cowboy Village, Cody 12 miles away Cody Cowboy Village is located close to all local activities including the world famous Buffalo Bill Historic Museum.
