It's always fun to stop by Eagle Lake. It is very arid here at Eagle Lake ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is May; January is the month with the least moisture. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoshone River; since you're here you can take a hike along the Jack Creek Trail. | | paddling is wonderful on Greybull River. If you need a site to stay The Cody is a wonderful choice, and on a great day you can take a hike along the South Piney Trail. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Eagle Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. a beautiful site close to Eagle Lake, and camping is available at TK's RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Cody Cowboy Village is a great location to get some rest, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Piney Creek Trail.
