The region where Dutch Reservoir is, is dominated by the Deer Creek Breaks; Dutch Reservoir is not far at all from Gillette. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lakes are great; Oiler Reservoir is a lake that's near Dutch Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Gillette is a fine choice. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dutch Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.       Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Dutch Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Dutch Reservoir, you could have a look at East Prong Deer Creek, and after a long day outdoors Settle Inn & Suites Gillette is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Dutch Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is January.
