A visit to Lake Dunchi is always a good idea. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Dunchi has to offer, you can camp at Twin Lakes Campground, and do visit Sawmill Dam since you're here. Lake Dunchi gets very little rainfall; April is the month that gets the most snow, and February is the month with the least moisture. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lake Dunchi is right by the Wolf Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Dunchi that you need to camp here for a while, Big Goose Campground is a fine place for that, and a great spot | |

for whitewater paddling is Tongue River. All the outdoors exciting things in the Bighorn Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hiking along the Roosevelt Trail is perfect fun, and Big Horn Ski is a very popular ski area
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paintrock Creek, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a brilliant
location to spend a night or two. All through the long summer days highs here at Lake Dunchi get into the 60's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 30's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Lake Dunchi
night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Game Creek Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Coney Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay.
