High temperatures at Lake Dunchi throughout the summer months are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Dunchi are in the 0's. Head up to Antelope Butte and strap some skis to your feet, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY. Lake Dunchi gets very little       rainfall; the month with most of the snow is April; February meanwhile is the driest month. You simply have to like the Bighorn Mountains. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Tongue River, and Lake Dunchi is right by the Game Creek Trail. If you need a site to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a good choice, and you can stay the night at Big Goose Campground. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake                  Dunchi. Hiking along the Roosevelt Trail is great fun, and a day on the slopes of Big Horn Ski is just what you need. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Duck Pond, and Twin Lakes Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Take a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail, and of course, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lake Fontanalis is a lake in close proximity. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Lake Dunchi. This lake is so wonderful. If you're hooked on cool geologic features, try Dome Rock, and Sawmill Dam is a place that is next to Lake Dunchi. This lake is so wonderful.
