     The beauty of Duncan Lake attracts many people from all around. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in close proximity to Duncan Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tongue River; Bruce Mountain is lovely and can be observed from here. Going for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and a great close by hotel is The Passage Resort at Big Horn. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater  
   on Shell Creek for all you thrill seekers.
After a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay East Woodrock Campground is a great spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bench Trail, and West Woodrock Campground is a magnificent local campground. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Duncan Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge
 
               down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Duncan Lake.
But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Near Duncan Lake you come across the Adelaide Trail which is a great hiking trail, and fine skiing awaits you at Antelope Butte. Duncan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. Duncan Lake is a location that is relatively dried up regularly; all through April this area sees the most snow; February meanwhile is the driest month.
Having a great time in the Bighorn Mountains is painless. If you're here at Duncan Lake, you could go to Compartment Creek; skiing at Big Horn Ski is one of those things you just should do.
