Summertime highs at Duck Pond mostly tend to be in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Duck Pond throughout the winter regularly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Coney Creek is in the neighborhood of Duck Pond and is always a diversion to pop by; there are other locations here than Duck       Pond, for example Lake Dunchi. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Big Horn Ski, also Sawmill Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Duck Pond has it all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Paintrock Creek. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lakes Campground                  is a nice place for that. Duck Pond is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains. While you're here at Duck Pond you can take a hike along the Roosevelt Trail, and if you came to camp Big Goose Campground is a pleasant site to do that. Drift down the rapids of Tongue River in a kayak; going for a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Lake Fontanalis is nearby, and dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Game Creek Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Antelope Butte if you're here. Dome Rock is an attention-grabbing place to explore while at Duck Pond, and if you need a place to stay Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a great choice. It is very arid here at Duck Pond commonly; April is when you get the most snow here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
