    It's always fun to stop by Duck Lake. Don't leave Duck Lake without first paying a visit to Big Cone Spring, and everyone loves Potts Hot Spring Basin. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hatchet Resort Restaurant & Bar is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and the De Lacy Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River, and hey, Big Thumb Creek  
   is a wonderful local stream.
Duck Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Fishing Bridge RV Park is a fine local campground; on a good day you can take a hike along the South Entrance Trail. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really abundant here at Duck Lake. There's so much to do here at Duck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bridge Bay Campground is a great spot for that, and Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel is a pleasant site to get some
 
               rest. While you're here at Duck Lake you can take a hike along the Riddle Lake Trail; a visit to Bluff Point is always a tremendous idea.
It is very dry here at Duck Lake usually; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the summertime highs here at Duck Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Duck Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
