If you are in Park county it's always a good idea to stop by Duck Lake. Good hiking is available along the Lewis and Clark Trail; Long Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. You definitely have to go for the Absaroka Range. So much amusing stuff to do at Duck Lake, so little time. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone

During the summer here at Duck Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Duck Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Duck Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most while October is typically the driest month. These
mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. While you're here at Duck Lake it's a great idea to have a look at Sawtooth Meadows, and Red Lodge Mountain is a brilliant local ski area. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
