    A visit to Dry Creek Reservoir is always a good idea. So many fun things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too splendid to be true. A glorious close by hotel is Cody Legacy Inn and Suites; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shoshone River. Dry Creek Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during May; February is the month with the least moisture.
Man, is there a lot of entertaining things
 
   to do in the Absaroka Range. Not far from Dry Creek Reservoir, you'll find Second Enlargement Foster Number 1 Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Dry Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Absaroka Bay Recreational Vehicle is a perfect site for that. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Dry Creek Reservoir. Lakes are fine; Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of  
               Dry Creek Reservoir; there's always Dry Creek Dam to have a look at near Dry Creek Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Timber Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dry Creek Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cody Koa Kampground. Summertime at Dry Creek Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Dry Creek Reservoir descend into the 10's. The Gooseberry Trail offers hiking at its best, and Yellowstone Valley Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
