On a good day at Dry Creek Reservoir you can take a hike along the Timber Creek Trail, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Shoshone River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. All year is a delightful time in the Absaroka Range if you love the outdoors. The Gooseberry Trail is a delightful hiking       trail next to Dry Creek Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dry Creek Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cody Koa Kampground. During the summertime highs here at Dry Creek Reservoir reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dry Creek Reservoir are in the 10's.
