Driskill Reservoir is typically a pretty dried up location; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Driskill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Lodge Campground is a magnificent place for that, and if time allows, Devils Tower National Monument is a national park worth       a visit. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Driskill Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn At Sundance is a great choice; why not a little side trip to Beaver Creek. After a long day outdoors Best Western Devils Tower Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Devil's Tower Fort is a fine location to do that. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the vicinity of                  Driskill Reservoir called the Rauth Trail, and at Driskill Dam near Driskill Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see. For the period of the summertime highs here at Driskill Reservoir get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Driskill Reservoir are in the 0's. Lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at French Reservoir close to Driskill Reservoir, and close by you discover the Nilson Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
