Going for a hike on the Nilson Trail is always a fine adventure, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Devils Tower Inn is a splendid choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Driskill Reservoir; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Driskill Reservoir are in the 0's. There is a nice       hiking trail close to Driskill Reservoir called the Simmons Trail; a tour to Devils Tower National Monument is worthwhile. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Driskill Reservoir has it all. Near Driskill Reservoir you find the Rauth Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Driskill Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Lodge Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Driskill                  Dam is charming and it's in the vicinity of Driskill Reservoir; Best Western Inn At Sundance is a fine place to get some rest. Not much rainfall falls here at Driskill Reservoir; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
