A lake nearby is Lower Poison Creek Stock Reservoir, and nearby you discover Gammon Draw which is a delightful place to go to. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Deer Park Campground is a perfect place to camp; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Buffalo is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.       This lake is so wonderful. People from Sheridan love to come to Doyen Reservoir. The T A Hills here at Doyen Reservoir makes the scenery here great, and the vista of T A Hills is stunning. At Doyen Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Doyen Reservoir. A fine close by hotel is Holiday                  Inn Express Hotel & Suites BUFFALO, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. Gerkin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and the Bozeman Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. Summertime highs at Doyen Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
