Going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Lake Donna is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Scab Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground. And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting things to do in the Wind River Range. Go for a hike on the Silver Lake Trail, and if the weather is pretty, you get a perfect sight of Baily Peak       from Lake Donna. Having a tremendous time at Lake Donna is easy. Do stop at Shelia Lake near Lake Donna, it's a stunning lake, and Best Western Pinedale Inn is a nice place to get some rest. Lake Donna is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. There's so much to do here at Lake Donna that you need to camp here for a while, Big Sandy Campground is a magnificent place for that; get covered with water paddling on Bull Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful.                  There are brilliant places to look at along the Crossover Trail, and if you're here, you could also go to stunning Ice Lakes. Lake Donna is a location that is quite waterless usually; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; December is when it's the driest. During the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Lake Donna; the nighttime is a little colder of course, generally in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Donna are in the 10's.
