Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Wind River Range. If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a good choice, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Bull Lake Creek. Donald Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month of the year is February. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Wind       River Range is great! The Big Sunday Trail offers hiking at its best; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Divide Lake. High temperatures at Donald Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Donald Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Don't leave Donald Lake without                  first checking out Block Tower, and Donald Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Big Sandy Campground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Donald Creek flows through this vicinity, and Bunion Mountain can be distinguished from Donald Lake. There's fine hiking along the Shadow Lake Trail, and naturally, this is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes, Fish Lake is a lake close by. What a location this is for outdoors people. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Donald Lake; Diamond Lake Trail is a delightful local trail; you can stay the night at Dickinson Creek Campground.
