A visit to Don Lake is always a good idea. Through the long summer days at Don Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Don Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. So much fun stuff in the Wind River Range, just mind-boggling. Native Lake is a perfect lake close to Don Lake. Around Don Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during June this area

| | sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Grassy Lake next to Don Lake; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. Don Lake is right by the Ink Wells Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a great place to get some rest. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Don Lake is excellent! you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bull Lake Creek.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Wind River Range. A nice place to camp here at Don Lake is Circle Up Camper Court Shop,
and do take a hike on the Dry Creek Trail. A good location for whitewater paddling near Don Lake is Wind River; Don Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Longhorn RV & Motel is a great local campground. Don Lake is located in the Wind River Range.
