Dome Lake Number 1 gets very little rainfall; through the month of April you get the most snow around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. A day on the slopes of Antelope Butte is just what you need, and a perfect site to camp here at Dome Lake Number 1 is Twin Lakes Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Tongue River offers some fine whitewater; you can go for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail. While you're here at Dome Lake Number 1, you could also take a look at stunning Twin Lakes Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Big Horn Ski is nice; brilliant hiking is available along the Roosevelt Trail. Summertime highs at Dome Lake Number 1 frequently tend to be in the 60's while night lows are ordinarily in the 30's.
