Why not stop by Dome Lake if you're passing through these parts. Dome Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Dome Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Coffeen Park Campground is a great spot to camp nearby; Coney Creek is in close proximity to Dome Lake and is always a bliss to explore.

Near Dome Lake you stumble on the Game Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Tongue River offers some pleasant whitewater. You definitely must go for the Bighorn Mountains. Twin Lakes Campground is a great local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Horn Ski. If you're addicted to cool
geologic marks, try Dome Rock; you can hit the slopes at Antelope Butte close at hand. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do near Dome Lake. Going for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure;
if you need a spot to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a fine choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Roosevelt Trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Paintrock Creek. Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a glorious spot to get some rest; do check out Weston Dam since you're here.
