Many people like to go to Dollar Lake. Dollar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. So much exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. A pleasant spree to Sawtooth Meadows is a glorious way to spend an afternoon, and Dollar Lake is a splendid spot to camp, Island Lake Campground is a splendid spot. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Don't leave Dollar Lake without first going for a hike along the

If you need a location to stay Lupine Inn Red Lodge is a tremendous choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dollar Lake; Beauty Lake Trail is a great local trail. Summertime highs at Dollar Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. time at Dollar Lake is uncomplicated. If you get bored of Dollar Lake, you could also visit nearby Chain Lakes, and skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is one of those things you just should do.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run
the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River near Dollar Lake, and Long Lake Campground is a brilliant campground here. Dollar Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month is
October. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Dollar Lake; there's good hiking along the Lewis and Clark Trail.
