What a nice lake Dollar Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and there's tremendous hiking along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. Yodeler Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest; Sawtooth Meadows is right here at Dollar Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range.

| | in a day to enjoy this location. Stay the night at Island Lake Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Beauty Lake Trail. Dollar Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Long Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Red Lodge Mountain. Dollar Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and October is when it's the driest.

You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dollar Lake; Lewis
and Clark Trail is a delightful local trail. Throughout the summer months at Dollar Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come
with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Dollar Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
