Divide Lake is typically a reasonably waterless location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. Glide down the rapids of Pole Creek in a kayak, and hiking along the Lowline Trail is nice fun. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Scab Sage Trail, and Divide Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Scab Creek       Campground is a great local campground. Divide Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. Why not explore close by Middle Fork Boulder Creek while you're here at Divide Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. At Divide Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's                  with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Divide Lake. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun; a perfect place to camp here at Divide Lake is Boulder Campground. Be careful coming to Divide Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Divide Dam is not far at all from Divide Lake, and Divide Lake is right by the Sage Basin Trail.
