High temperatures at Dish Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dish Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Dish Lake. Moon Creek is a perfect local stream, and       camping at Longhorn RV & Motel is always a nice experience. The C M Trail is a good hiking trail close to Dish Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Boone Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Wind River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna return                  home again. A good nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dubois, and paddling on Green River is so much fun. That right there is a heap of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. This is a tremendous area for folks who like lakes. Soapstone Lake is a lake nearby; since you're here you can take a hike along the Whiskey Mountain Trail. A good panorama of delightful Windy Mountain is available from Dish Lake, and Dish Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great local campground. Dish Lake gets very little rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
