If you are in Sheridan county it's always a good idea to stop by Dinwiddie Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dinwiddie Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, South Tongue Campground is a nice local campground; do take a hike on the Little Horn Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Dinwiddie Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in

| | the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dinwiddie Lake are in the 10's. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Dinwiddie Lake, too fine to be true. Some of the water close by flows, like Stockade Creek, and great water scenery is available at Dana Dam right next door to Dinwiddie Lake. Campground is a pleasant spot for that; The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a fine site to get some rest. Very scenic scenery and good skiing is what you get at Big Horn Ski; of course, this is a fine area for folks who like lakes,
Keiwit Acme Ditch Reservoir Number 1 is a lake close by. So many entertaining things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, too great to be true. Skiing at Antelope Butte is one of those things you just must do. Not much precipitation
falls here at Dinwiddie Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Tongue River in a kayak, and Dinwiddie Lake is right by the Dry Fork Trail.
