    Why not stop by Dinwiddie Lake if you're passing through these parts. Dinwiddie Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. Dinwiddie Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Dinwiddie Lake is right by the Little Horn Trail, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is  
   a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
So much entertaining stuff to do at Dinwiddie Lake, so little time. Stay the night at North Tongue River Campground, and paddling on Tongue River is so much fun. Throughout the warm months here at Dinwiddie Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Dinwiddie Lake tend to be in the
 
               10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Kiewit Stockade Creek Reservoir Number 1 is nearby; skiing at Big Horn Ski is one of those things you just ought to do.
Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Bighorn Mountains is peerless! Not far from Dinwiddie Lake, you'll locate Dana Reservoir which is a delightful lake, and the Dry Fork Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Dinwiddie Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Tongue Campground is a delightful place for that, and you can take a little visit to Dana Dam if you're here at Dinwiddie Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
Getting to Stockade Creek from Dinwiddie Lake is simple; you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Antelope Butte.
