This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Through the summertime highs here at Dick Creek Lakes reach the 80's while night lows are generally in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while Dick Creek Lakes overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Gooseberry Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Cody. Greybull River has a       great whitewater paddling spot close by; there are perfect locations to look at along the Timber Creek Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Dick Creek Lakes. Why not camp at Wood River Campground if you're here at Dick Creek Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Wind River Trail; if you're here, you could also visit pretty Jojo Lake. It is very dried up here at Dick Creek Lakes frequently; May is when you                  get the most rain here while January is commonly the driest month. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range.
