    A visit to Dick Creek Lakes is always a good idea. Through the summer at Dick Creek Lakes highs are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dick Creek Lakes sink into the 10's. Take a hike on the Timber Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dick Creek  
   Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Brown Mountain Campground. Dick Creek Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oasis Motel & RV Park; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Gooseberry Trail. Dick Creek Lakes is pretty dried out typically; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka
 
               Range. There's whitewater on Greybull River for all you adrenaline kick people, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wind River Trail.
There's so much to do here at Dick Creek Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Wood River Campground is a perfect spot for that.
