    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wyoming you can check out Diamond Lake. At Diamond Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. The Big Sunday Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Diamond Lake; the peak of Bunion Mountain can be seen from Diamond Lake. High temperatures at Diamond Lake throughout the summer months are in the 70's,  
   and the night is a bit colder of course, typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Diamond Lake.
Getting to North Temple Creek from Diamond Lake is painless; going for a hike on the Crows Nest Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Near Diamond Lake you locate the Diamond Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and why not camp at Dickinson Creek Campground while you're here at Diamond Lake.
 
               These mountains rock, just look at all the cool things to do in the Wind River Range. A delightful nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Francis Lake is just a very short distance away.
If you like the outdoors, you'll like Diamond Lake. A good spot to camp here at Diamond Lake is Big Sandy Campground. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.
