    Diamond Lake is a lake worth visiting. At Diamond Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Diamond Lake are in the 0's. Looking for something near Diamond Lake? Glacier Lake is nearby, and nearby you discover the Angeline Trail which is a great hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to  
   discover everything Diamond Lake has to offer, you can camp at Highland Park Campground; you can run the rapids of Tensleep Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Diamond Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Geneva Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and the Solitude Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a place to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a brilliant choice.
 
               Diamond Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Bighorn Mountains has to offer. The summit of Penrose Peak can be seen from Diamond Lake, and going for a hike on the Cliff Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Not much rainfall falls here at Diamond Lake; April is the wettest month with most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest.
