Desert Reservoir Number 6 is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Boulder Creek; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. And that's not all you can do here at Desert Reservoir Number 6. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Lost Reservoir, and the Emigrant Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Stay the night at Scab Creek Campground; close by you stumble

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pole Creek, and Ox-yoke Acres Campground is a splendid campground nearby.  | 12 miles away scab lake trail is not one for the weak, it is a hard climb with outstanding rewards of beauty & huge high powered brilliantly colored brook trout up to 6 lbs that we know of in scab lake! oh almost forgot the last time I went was July 5 it snowed at scab 18 plus inches, I hope that I remembered to tell that the 11 mile trail to the scab lake is a hard hard climb, I have only made it 3 times to the lake thanks Allen Eagle concrete worker & stock car racer Jackson Hole... |
