For the period of the warm days of summer here at Desert Reservoir Number 4, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. There's so much to do here at Desert Reservoir Number 4 that you need to camp here for a while, Ox-yoke Acres Campground is a brilliant place for that; after a long day outdoors Boulder Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Scab Creek Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and nearby you hit upon the Sage Basin Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.

choice. Desert Reservoir Number 4 is commonly a quite arid spot; May is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for
you then we recommend Pole Creek. Lakes are wonderful; Square Top Reservoir Number 6 is a lake that's right next door to Desert Reservoir Number 4.
If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some magnificent whitewater,
and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Scab Lake Trail. Antelope Spring is always fun to check out, and the Emigrant Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby.
