Lakes? Sure, Cloud Peak Reservoir is close at hand. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Park Campground is a magnificent place for that. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Angeline Trail, and not far from Deer Lake you'll hit upon Seven Brothers Lakes which is a pretty lake. Deer Lake is typically       a rather waterless site; April is when you get the most snow here, and February is when it's the driest. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. Deer Lake is right by the Solitude Trail, and Deer Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Park Campground is a delightful local campground. All the outdoors entertaining things close to Deer Lake will keep you coming back many times.                  A tremendous nearby hotel is Sheridan-Days Inn. Throughout the warm days of summer at Deer Lake temperatures are typically in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Deer Lake fall into the 0's.
